1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for, embedding, or otherwise using the iborntoday "Born Today" widget (the "Widget"), you ("You" or "Publisher") agree to be bound by these Widget Terms of Use (the "Widget Terms") in addition to the iborntoday Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Widget.

2. Limited License

Subject to your compliance with these Widget Terms, iborntoday grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to embed the Widget on your website(s) solely at the domain(s) registered during the sign-up process. This license does not grant you any ownership or intellectual property rights in the Widget, its content, or the iborntoday brand.

3. API Key & Domain Restriction

Upon registration, you will receive a unique API key tied to the domain you specified. This API key is strictly bound to that domain:

• The API key will only function on the registered domain (and its subdomains). Requests originating from any other domain will be rejected.
• You may not share, transfer, sell, or publish your API key to any third party.
• You may not use a single API key on multiple unrelated domains. Each domain requires its own registration and key.
• If you need to change the domain associated with your key, you must contact us to request a new registration.
• You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. If you believe your key has been compromised, contact us immediately for a replacement.

Attempts to circumvent domain restrictions — including but not limited to proxying requests, spoofing headers, or using the key in server-side requests to redistribute content — constitute a violation of these Widget Terms and will result in immediate revocation.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

The Widget is provided as a free service for legitimate websites that offer lawful and appropriate content. You agree that the Widget will not be embedded on any website that contains, promotes, facilitates, or is primarily associated with:

• Pornography, sexually explicit material, or adult content
• Violence, gore, graphic imagery, or content glorifying harm to individuals or groups
• Hate speech, discrimination, harassment, or content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
• Illegal activities, including but not limited to drug trafficking, fraud, hacking, piracy, or any activity that violates applicable law
• Gambling or betting services (unless fully licensed and lawful in the applicable jurisdiction)
• Malware, phishing, spyware, adware, or any other malicious or deceptive software
• Spam, deceptive practices, clickbait farms, or content designed primarily to generate fraudulent ad impressions
• Misinformation, disinformation, fake news, or conspiracy theories presented as fact
• Content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Websites impersonating or misrepresenting their affiliation with iborntoday or any other entity
• Scraping, data harvesting, or automated extraction of content delivered through the Widget

This list is non-exhaustive. iborntoday reserves the right to determine, at its sole and absolute discretion, whether a website violates the spirit or letter of this Acceptable Use Policy.

5. Widget Integrity

You agree not to:

• Modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or alter the Widget script or its output in any way
• Remove, hide, or obscure the "Powered by iborntoday" attribution link
• Overlay, cover, or otherwise interfere with the celebrity profile links within the Widget
• Frame the Widget content in a way that removes attribution or misrepresents its source
• Cache, store, or redistribute the Widget API responses beyond what the Widget script itself performs
• Use CSS, JavaScript, or any other technique to alter the visual appearance of the Widget in a manner that misrepresents iborntoday or its content

6. Right to Suspend, Revoke, or Terminate

iborntoday reserves the unconditional right to suspend, revoke, or permanently terminate your access to the Widget and its API at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without prior notice, at its sole and absolute discretion.

Reasons for revocation may include, but are not limited to:

• Violation of these Widget Terms, the iborntoday Terms of Service, or any applicable law
• Embedding the Widget on a website that falls within the prohibited categories described in Section 4
• Excessive or abusive use of the API, including exceeding rate limits or generating artificial traffic
• Removal or manipulation of the attribution link or celebrity profile links
• Use of the API key on a domain other than the registered domain
• The Widget or your website being used in a manner that, in our sole judgment, harms or could harm the reputation, brand, or interests of iborntoday
• Discontinuation or modification of the Widget service
• Any other reason we deem necessary to protect our users, partners, or business

Upon revocation, your API key will be deactivated immediately, and the Widget will cease to function on your website. You will have no claim to damages, compensation, or recourse of any kind resulting from such revocation.

7. Data & Privacy

When the Widget is loaded on your website, it makes requests to iborntoday servers. We may collect technical data from these requests, including the referring domain, IP addresses of end users, and usage metrics. This data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for disclosing the use of third-party widgets (including iborntoday) in your own privacy policy and for obtaining any required consent from your website visitors as mandated by applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

8. Intellectual Property

All content delivered through the Widget — including celebrity names, images, biographical data, and the Widget script itself — remains the exclusive property of iborntoday and/or its licensors. The limited license granted in Section 2 does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

Celebrity images are sourced under various open licenses (Creative Commons, public domain). Attribution is provided by iborntoday. You may not extract, download, or reuse these images outside the context of the Widget.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE WIDGET IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. IBORNTODAY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE WIDGET WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

iborntoday makes no guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of celebrity data delivered through the Widget. Some content may be generated or enhanced using artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IBORNTODAY AND ITS OPERATORS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE WIDGET, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES RESULTING FROM WIDGET DOWNTIME, REVOCATION, INACCURATE DATA, OR SECURITY BREACHES.

In no event shall iborntoday's total aggregate liability to you exceed the amount you have paid iborntoday for the Widget in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. As the Widget is provided free of charge, this amount shall be zero ($0).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless iborntoday and its operators, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from or related to your use of the Widget, your violation of these Widget Terms, or your website's content.

12. Modifications to These Terms

iborntoday may update these Widget Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address provided during registration. Your continued use of the Widget after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must remove the Widget from your website and discontinue use.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Widget Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Widget Terms or the use of the Widget shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
