Hey
Three-time W Series champion and pioneering female racing driver
She is the only driver to win the W Series championship three times, claiming the inaugural title in 2019 and defending it in 2021 and 2022.
Jamie Laura Chadwick, born May 20, 1998 in Bath, England, is a British racing driver and the only three-time W Series champion, winning the inaugural 2019 title and defending it in 2021 and 2022. The Taurus-born racer competes for IDEC Sport in the European Le Mans Series and previously drove for Andretti Global in Indy NXT, while also serving as a Williams Racing ambassador and Jaguar Formula E test driver. She broke through motorsport barriers by becoming the first woman to win a British Formula 3 race in 2018 and the first female MRF Challenge champion in 2019.
Chadwick started karting at age eleven in 2009, following her brother Oliver into motorsport. She turned down a trial with England's under-18 hockey team in 2013 to compete in the Ginetta Junior Championship scholarship weekend, which she won to launch her car racing career. She progressed through British GT Championship GT4 competition, becoming the youngest and first female British GT champion in 2015, before transitioning to single-seater racing in 2017 with the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship.
Chadwick grew up on the Isle of Man; her father Michael is a property developer and her mother Jasmine is an Indian-born businesswoman. She was educated at Cheltenham College in Gloucestershire and resides in London. She is in a relationship with racing driver Struan Moore and serves as a Williams Driver Academy adviser for F1 Academy, championing opportunities for women in motorsport.
