Dov Glickman is an Israeli actor and comedian who starred in the satirical show Zehu Ze! for 20 years and won two Israeli Television Academy Awards for his role in Shtisel. He received two Ophir Awards and has appeared in over 50 theatre productions, films, and television series since 1968.
Glickman was born in Tel Aviv to Russian Jewish parents who immigrated in the 1920s. He studied at Renanim high school for the arts and began his career in the Israel Navy Entertainment troupe. During the early 1970s, he was a member of the Haifa Theatre company.
Glickman grew up in the Ramat Hahayal neighborhood of Tel Aviv and studied at Renanim arts high school alongside Shlomo Bar-Aba, Shlomit Aharon, and Yigal Bashan. In 2010, he was involved in a traffic accident and suspended from holding a driver's license for three years.
