Hey
Retired footballer and Inter Miami president
He became famous as Manchester United's right midfielder who won the 1999 UEFA Champions League as part of the club's historic treble.
Sir David Beckham (born May 2, 1975) is a retired English footballer and current president and co-owner of Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City. Standing 6 feet tall, he won 19 major trophies across Manchester United, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, AC Milan, and Paris Saint-Germain before retiring in May 2013 at age 38. The Taurus-born midfielder earned 115 England caps and remains the only English player to win league titles in four countries: England, France, Spain, and the United States.
Beckham grew up in Leytonstone, East London, where his parents traveled 200 miles to Manchester United matches regularly. He played for youth club Ridgeway Rovers (coached by his father), won Under-15 Player of the Year with Brimsdown Rovers in 1990, and attended Bobby Charlton's Soccer Schools. He signed schoolboy forms with Manchester United on his 14th birthday and joined their Youth Training Scheme on July 8, 1991, winning the FA Youth Cup in May 1992 before his professional debut later that year at age 17.
Beckham married Victoria Adams (born April 17, 1974), former Spice Girls member, on July 4, 1999, and they have four children: Brooklyn (born 1999), Romeo (born 2002), Cruz (born 2005), and Harper (born 2011). The family maintains residences in London and Miami, connected to his business ventures with Inter Miami CF. He was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2003 and received a knighthood in 2025, with his Taurus traits of loyalty and family devotion reflected in his 26-year marriage and UNICEF ambassadorship since 2005.
Stands exactly 6 feet (1.83 meters) tall, considered ideal height for a midfielder.
Earned over $50 million in 2013, making him the highest-paid footballer in the world that year.
Wore Manchester United's iconic number 7 jersey, previously worn by legends like George Best and Eric Cantona.
Only English player to win domestic league titles in four different countries: England, Spain, France, and the United States.
First British footballer to reach 100 UEFA Champions League appearances during his Milan loan spell in 2010.
At school whenever the teachers asked, 'What do you want to do when you're older?' I'd say, 'I want to be a footballer.' And they'd say, 'No, what do you really want to do, for a job?' But that was the only thing I ever wanted to do.
I've probably had more contact with Judaism than with any other religion.
I'm proud of representing my country and proud of what I've achieved, but I'm moving forward, not looking back.
