Born April 4, 1983, Amanda Righetti is an American actress best known for playing Grace Van Pelt on CBS's The Mentalist from 2008 to 2014. The Aries-born actress also starred in the 2009 Friday the 13th reboot, appeared as a recurring character on The O.C., and played Madeline Kenner on the sci-fi series Colony from 2016 to 2017. Standing at approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, Righetti is a natural brunette who occasionally dyes her hair for roles.
The youngest of eight children, Righetti was born in St. George, Utah, and raised outside Las Vegas, Nevada. She started modeling at age 14, then moved to Los Angeles at 18 to pursue acting. Her father Alexander Dominic Righetti is of Italian descent, while her mother Linda Carol Chisum has German, French, and English ancestry.
Righetti married director and writer Jordan Alan on April 29, 2006, on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. The couple had a son named Knox Addison, born in 2013. Righetti filed for divorce from Jordan Alan in 2017, and there is no confirmed public information about a relationship with Adrian Pasdar or romantic involvement with former co-star Owain Yeoman.
